I bought Migo Digital Rescue Premium in the summer of 2009. The software worked well on recovering pictures, but it completely failed to recover MS Word or Excel docs that were 3-5 years old. The ease of use was nice, however I have never been able to get a live person for support. I could not even find a phone # on the Migo site. Only one of my emails has been answered, and it was marked "low priority" even though I just purchased the utility. I still recommend this product, but only if you are willing to go it alone. The new DT Utilities site (they bought out Migo) is good, but again you cannot get a live body without paying extra to even hear a human voice. For a non-power user like me, I lost precious time trying to contact support. I subsequently used another Top-Ten Reviewed recovery software. Migo recovered the same that its competitor recovered, but the lack of human support was a real issue for me. I fear my unrecovered files are gone forever. One thing is true, though: search features are strong...
